Report a Policy Violation
For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

That took me a long time to finish. ._.
Aradian = my original character whom I use in roleplays. At first he was a mute albino who had a phobia for physical contact due to some childhood traumas. During the game he became vampire, then a...vampire mutant, I guess. Anyway he feeds on other vampires (like crusniks from ,,Trinity Blood"). And now he works for a very powerful creature known by the name Master. Aradian recently got his voice back and he lost his phobia for physical contact. His voice sounds husky and almost...demonic, but atleast he isn't mute anymore. Soon after that Master arranged a masquerade ball to celebrate the invention of cure for injuries caused by werewolves. And Aradian discovered that he can dance waltz... Then he met Aswina - an apparently cheerful vampiress whose blood smelt wonderful. Long story short - they ended up in Aradians bedroom having an early breakfast. EDIT: I decided to put the version with open eyes and red cloak as the...main version of this painting because people seemed to like Aradian more with his eyes open. ...although I still think that the closed-eyed version looks more dreamy and that Aradian appears more like an actual albino than just some kind of a silver-haired anime villain on that one. But I must say that the version with open eyes looks more...logical. Aradian isn't a good dancer and I wouldn't want to dance with my eyes closed if I weren't so great at it. And I just printed it out and sticked it above my bed, next to the flute player picture. Because I like it. EDIT: A certain person told me to clean up the lineart to make it look more ,,digital''. I thought that it wouldn't be that hard (plus the picture had looked ugly when I printed it out with all those pencil stripes on it) so I did it. |

However, a few things did jump out at me - specifically, the gritty leftovers of the sketching under-layer of the image (especially in his hair, his hand and their skin. Also, is he supposed to have claws? That's the feel I get from the top hand. And is that a tattoo under his right-most eye? My initial impression was that he was wearing glasses, but on a closer look, I see that he isn't. I guess my point is that I wonder if it would be possible to clean up those really small details and make this even more digital? I'm thinking it would make the overall image feel more...together, if you know what I mean.
Anyhow, just some thoughts - hope this helps and good luck drawing!
He IS supposed to have claws. The vampires in our roleplay have two forms. One is the ,,human form'' (in which they have all the vampire abilities, but they look generally human-like), the other one is the ,,vampire form'' which usually reveals itself when they are about to feed or defend/attack something (then their eyes turn red, they grow fangs/claws, they become stronger/faster and overall dangerous and predator-like). Aradian (the white-haired man on the picture) is not a usual vampire and he's always in his ,,vampire form'', so he has red eyes and claws 24/7.
And the black spot under his eye IS supposed to be a tattoo. The angle was a bit strange, so I couldn't get the whole tattoo to appear on the picture. I'm not sure how to make it better but I kind of like it the way it is.
Do you think it would look better like this? -> [link] I removed some of the lines, especially on the hair. Their skins aren't bothering me, so I didn't change them much.

I love the detail in the clothes though the creases and shadowy tones are great.
Overall, it's a good piece. Just needs a bit of touching up on the guys face.
